If you haven’t already, you should watch Seinfeld’s CiCGC with Hasan Mihnaj. As an older (I can’t believe I just referred to myself that way...) car guy, it’s pretty fascinating - Jerry’s just doing his thing (in a Testarossa) and Hasan ask questions like he’s writing in cuneiform or something. I really wish Jerry would’ve gotten a producer to quickly find him a old Civic and a parking lot to teach him right then.
Also “Homecoming King” is fantastic.

Good call...I’ve seen every episode on Netflix and this one was one of the more confounding ones.
I also though the Aziz Ansari “drive my tour bus around” could have been a lot better. Amy Schumer was total meh. But most of them are really solid.
The Jerry Lewis one gave me The Feels. Filmed about a month before he died and it was his last TV appearance.

Yeah, you could really feel the love and adoration Seinfeld felt for him.
I enjoyed Kate McKinnon from this last season as well.

Yep, very good. My favorite was probably Neal Brennan. I went out and watched his “Three Mics” comedy special right after that and it was pretty amazing. I had never heard of the guy, but he was Dave Chappelle’s TV
co-creator, among other things.

Its weird ... I like comedians, I like cars, yet I find that series insufferable.

I’m the opposite: I don’t find comedians in general all that interesting, I’m much less a car guy than most people here, and I couldn’t stand Seinfeld the TV show, but some of this series is really good.

Jerry’s look when Hasan shows he has no idea how transmissions, and surely cars in general, work, is gold.

Interesting. Just too mundane for you? I can see that. I like that you get some insight into these people’s minds and lives - I like learning how people tick. And I love it when two comedians are riffing off of each other, playfully giving each other a hard time.
I will say, a few of the people he has had on are pretty unbearable.

You know why I like comedians? They tell THE TRUTH. They’re willing to take the risk (and potential hit ) and say the things that many of us aren’t willing to say. It’s a terribly valuable thing for a society to have these truth-sayers , and you can see just how free we are as Americans by what comedians are confident enough to say in public (love it or hate it).

Yes - fantastic. Three Mics was very impressive.

I find Seinfeld pretty insufferable, but when he’s in a car with someone else, it can be enjoyable.

What if we changed the title to Comedians in Cars Getting Cognac ?

It’d probably start funnier, and then end sadder.

Cocaine starts with the same letter.

Only acceptable if it is organic cocaine
